Windows 10 1903 (May 2019 update) freezing, crashing, and blue screens? Update your Realtek ethernet driver!
I don’t remember where I found it, but there was a person in a forum who said that when he updated his Realtek ethernet driver from the one Windows picked to the latest version, his freshly updated WIndows 10 1903 stopped being unstable. I tried it myself, updating from the 2016 driver to the latest driver released in mid-2019. It worked. So if you’re suffering from crashing issues, look in Device Manager to see if you have a Realtek PCIe Ethernet controller and try manually installing the latest driver for that first.
